The Sanctuary · North Braddock
A community space in North Braddock where families can find a safe next step, neighbors can gather, and healing has room to take root.
Help build The SanctuaryA shared vision
The Sanctuary is a partnership between Za'kiyah House and the Heliotrope Foundation — two organizations bringing resources, relationship, and imagination together for North Braddock.
Together, we are honoring what this donated church has been while creating what the community needs next: a place shaped by welcome, practical support, and the belief that every person deserves room to rebuild.

Why it matters
The Sanctuary will help reduce housing discrimination against people with criminal records and create pathways to stability for people impacted by incarceration, addiction, and homelessness.
This is housing with dignity, support with relationship, and a place where families do not have to choose between getting help and staying together.
